NCA creates extra points for SIM registration to minimize congestion

The National Communications Authority (NCA) has taken measures to decrease congestion at several centres for the SIM registration exercise.

The NCA stated in an announcement on Friday, January 7 that it had deployed extra registration points commensurate with the subscriber numbers.

The authority similarly guaranteed that it understands the frustrations and inconveniences of clients in their bid to complete the 2nd stage of the SIM card registration process.

“As a result, the NCA has been working assiduously with Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) and SIM registration application developer to enhance the registration method and mitigate the modern challenges,” the assertion said.

It similarly “urged the widespread public to be affected person as these measures are rapidly implemented.”
