Wizkid Bags 3 Major Awards At The 2021 AFRIMA Award Show
Big Wiz won Artiste of the year, Song of the Year — “Essence” (ft. Tems) and Best African Collaboration — “Essence” (ft. Tems) awards.
It would be recalled that Wizkd was nominated under six categories ‘Artiste of the Year in Africa’, ‘Best Male Artist in Western Africa’, ‘Album of the Year’, ‘Best African Collab’, ‘Song of the Year’ and ‘Best Duo in African R&B’.
Most of his nominations were attached to Essence, the biggest song in Africa. With this achievement, Wizkid has once again retained his title of being the most awarded Nigerian artiste.
