The President of Ghana reward the just ended Tokyo Olympics games Contigents $5000 each.
The President of the Republic of Ghana was visited by the contigents that represented the country at the just ended Tokyo Olympics games.
Among the contigents was Samuel Takyi the young boxer who won a bronze medal for the country, the team pass through to honor the President with the medal that was won.
And then His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo welcome the team with other honourable people in the Jubilee House, and congratulated them for the effort and courage to represent the nation.
He further announced an amount of money as a reward to boost the young athletes to do more next time.
The President rewarded each contigent with an amount of $5000, $3000 to goes to them directly whiles $2000 goes to an investment account of each person, to help them secure a better future.
The medallist, Samuel Takyi, will receive a car, ten thousand dollars ($10,000), and an additional twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) put in a career development fund for him, for the next Olympic games and future tournaments.
