Western north youth Foundation To Host Western North Excellence Award This Year.

The good news hitting the environment of one of the newly created regions in Ghana, Western North
Region, of which Sefwi Wiawso is the capital city, is that ,

the youth led by an Organization called


Western North Youth Foundation (WNYF) and all students unions in the region have realized that “
Western north region is not only recognized as one of the regions blessed with natural resources like
Timber , Gold and Cocoa, among others, but the region is also endowed with many talented and
hardworking personalities especially the Youth in the region who need to be appreciated in a grand
style.

With this, the Western North Youth Foundation (WNYF) is organizing the first ever Excellence Awards,
dubbed: WESTERN NORTH EXCELLENCE AWARDS; to honor and appreciate the hardworking citizens of
the region who are contributing in the various ways towards the development of the region.


As part of the preparations, the WNYF Deputy Chairperson for external relation, Mr. Collins Obeng
(Dinpa) and members of the partnership Committee, Mr. Kofi Anim Yirenkye (chair) ,

Ms. Priscilla Tachie
Mensah (Vice chair) and the Vice Chair of the organizing committee, Ms. Augustina Aduhene payed a
courtesy call on several reputable institution like MTN Ghana, Beulah Land Hotel, Kan Royal Fuel
Company , Republic Bank ,Lord FM and Uniique FM.


The event is said to happen this year on the 27th November, 2021 at Sefwi Wiawso.
