Shatta Wale to Retire after GOG ALBUM
In a recent post on twitter the multiple awards winning Artist and president of Shatta Movement made it a pleasure to announce his retirement from the music industry, on the 1st of April Shatta Wale twittered that he wanted to retire from the industry after the release of his new “GOG” album.

Being the 1st of April many thought it was a prank for April fool.
But Artist in an interview on Hitz FM, explain to the host why he want to retire and said his post was not a prank for April fool, he really want to retire and make way for the other and upcoming artists to shine.
He also stated that financially he had a solid stands which can hold him even when he is not doing music anymore, the Artist disclosed some investment he had done during his music career and this could cater for him.
The SM boss believes retiring is a way of giving the upcoming artists to shine too.
